It's official! Jackson loves Christmas!
Auntie Néné and Uncle Troy gave Jack this cool guitar on wheels. Though it's not meant to be a ride-on toy, Jack immediately turned it into one.
He also enjoyed a fun toy phone that makes lots of noises and and speaks in different languages!
Jackson spent a lot of time in the car over the past few days - up to VT, then home, then to Scituate. Luckily, he's pretty cozy in his carseat.
He's telling Mommy about how much he likes sitting in Grandma's childhood chair.
What did Grampy get? Must be something cool.
A little snuggle time with Grandma.
Followed by attempted hugging of his cousin Xandra. He couldn't get enough of her. Too bad Xandra cried every time he wrapped his arms around her.
This is Jack's latest facial expression. When something rolls under the couch or otherwise disappears, he makes this face, shrugs his shoulders, put his hands up and says, "Where is it?"
And here's Mommy's big belly with little brother Quinton David inside. Jack loves to hug Mommy's big tummy. He must think it's a pillow.

Winter is fun! Jackson enjoys sitting in the sled Nanny & Grampy gave him last year.
He also enjoys eating snow with a spoon.
He's a good sport about the silly hats Mommy makes him wear.
And so Mommy indulges him when he wants to wear two different boots. Even if he is having a temper tantrum while eating cheerios. Not an easy feat!
Mommy also lets Jack have fun with baby powder.
Maybe a little too much fun!

Jackson hasn't been quite himself the past few days. He's had a little cold; he's got molars coming in; and generally he's been pretty tired and cranky. But he finds comfort wherever he can...
...like by dumping all the toys out of a bucket and sitting inside it.
Or by hanging with his favorite monkey friend. The monkey and a binky go especially well together.
And there's nothing like combining all three things and adding a little Playhouse Disney to the mix. What a nice spot to watch TV.

When he gets tired of sitting there, he points to the strap you can see on the left and says, "This! This! This!" which translates to: "Mommy, Daddy, anyone, please pull me around the house and take me for a fun ride!"
Hope you feel better soon Jack!
