Jack's New Highchair! Yesterday Mommy put Jack's highchair together. It was a gift from Grandma and Pop this Christmas. He looks a little small in it, but the harness keeps him in place.
He was immediately interested in the chair and was especially fascinated with the tray. He kept rubbing his fingers on it. He does look a little sick here, doesn't he? His nose is very runny and getting super dry. He HATES having his nose suctioned, but it's a neccessity sometimes.
At least he still looks happy! And he played contentedly with whatever Mommy put on the tray for him while she did the dishes. Very nice!

Two Sick Monkeys. Both Daddy and Jack have bad colds. We took Jack to the doctor yesterday and found out he has bronchiolitis (bronchitis with wheezing) and an ear infection. Poor little guy! He started on Zithromax yesterday and he and Daddy are getting lots of rest together. Here they are watching Noggin. Notice how Jack holds Chris's thumb.

It's 9:30pm and they've fallen asleep together on the couch. Hopefully Jack's not holding his ears because they hurt. Could they be any cuter??

Mommy's New Haircut! Kira got so tired of Jack always pulling on her hair that she finally had it cut off this weekend. It's a bit shorter than she intended, but there's nothing to be done about it now. Unfortunately, instead of of her hair, Jack now grabs ahold of her neck and pinches. Ouch!
Jack doesn't look so bad for having caught Mommy's cold. He's got a bad cough and a runny nose. Poor pumpkin.

Jack doesn't seem to mind his perfectly sized little seat and Mommy's grateful for the free hands.

Jackson loves music! Mommy & Jack started Music Together last Wednesday. Everyone sits on the floor in a circle and sings songs and bangs on instruments. Well, mostly Jack chews on instruments, but he seems to like all the noise. As you can see from this smile, he also likes the Music Together CD he was listening to. It's full of fun songs that he and Mommy dance to.
This is why it can be hard to capture a smile in a photo - Jack becomes mesmerized by the red light on the camera.
When Jack sits on Daddy's lap, he stares and stares at Mommy, often with a little tilt to his head as though he's studying her very hard.

Six Months Old! 6 months and he already can't take his eyes off football. He and Grampy enjoyed the game this Sunday.
Boy, that football is exhausting! Jack and Nan take a nice nap together.

Jack loves being naked so much that we've made it part of his evening ritual.
We change his diaper and then let him enjoy the freedom of no clothes. Then it's pajama time for this boy!
When Pop visits, Jack likes being carried all around, whether it's the house or the store. Thanks for the ride Pop!
