For our friends and family to see our fun little family.

Baby Jack. Here is the ultrasound photo of Jackson Cortese at 19.5 weeks. It's a profile shot. See the round of his head on the left and his little nose? You can't really see his legs or arms here, though we got to see all 10 fingers and 10 toes that day. He looks like Chris, doesn't he?
Bedroom. This picture would be more impressive if there was a before shot of the old mattress lying on the floor with the white comforter on it. This new bed - complete with box springs and bedframe! - is a thousand times better. And the comforter cover that matches the wall makes a big difference too.
Artroom. Kira's artroom is still too messy to publish many photos of it, but this shelf deserves special attention. Kira's friend Ken built it for her with all the shelves at perfect heights for her smaller supplies - acrylic paints, rubber stamps, etc. It's just want she wanted!
Kitchen. Here are two shots of the kitchen. The first shows our sink and the window above it. Nice and bright! The second shows our cute kitchen table with a view to the livingroom. Very convenient for watching Everybody Loves Raymond reruns while we eat one of Chris's delicious dinners. Note the beautiful Valentine's bouquet that Chris sent to Kira.
Livingroom. Here are two views of the livingroom, one taken from the hallway and showing almost the whole room. Here you can see our Avery painting. Isn't that something? The other photo shows the cats sitting in the livingroom window. Surprisingly, they don't go up there very often.
Apologies for the delay in new photos being posted! Chris hasn't set up Kira's computer since the big move, so she can't access the web except from work. Hopefully by the end of this weekend, new photos (showing lots and lots of unpacked boxes) will be up. Thanks for your patience!

Oh, and this bug is a spitting ground beetle, scientific name: calosoma auropunctatum, that I painted in a class at RISD. I love bugs.
